From its beginnings as a single hospital, Bozeman Health now covers a service area that extends throughout southwestern Montana. Our health system is comprised of two hospitals, several specialty treatment centers, a network of physician and urgent care clinics, outpatient treatment facilities and retirement and assisted living facilities, all staffed by hundreds of doctors, nurses, medical assistants, technologists, specialists, experts of many varieties and dedicated professionals.

Headwaters Area Food Bank

Emergency Food Assistance

We believe nobody should go to bed hungry

Our mission is to distribute food to the residents of the Headwaters Area who are in need of emergency food services and to treat those recipients with dignity and compassion while maintaining each household’s integrity.

The Headwaters Area Food Bank enacts its mission through the following programs:

  • Emergency Food Assistance (3 to 5 day food supply)
  • Holiday Food Assistance (Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food items)
  • Food Rescue and Recovery Program (gleaning and distributing perishable food items)
  • The BackPack Program (supplemental foods for area youth on weekends and other school breaks)

The Headwaters Area Food Bank serves, but is not limited to the following areas:  Three Forks, Manhattan, Amsterdam, Churchill, Logan, Clarkston, Willow Creek, Harrison, and Pony.

Whitetail Ranch Center

Mission: WHITETAIL’S MISSION Whitetail Ranch Center’s mission is to meet the needs of Veterans facing the many complex challenges of PTSD. Whitetail Ranch Center will empower veterans to lead independent, productive, and healthy lives. Whitetail Ranch Center is a non-profit, long-term residential, working ranch serving and supporting the needs of Veterans experiencing PTSD. Veterans will learn vocational ranching skills through daily ranch responsibilities while pursuing educational or vocational goals and regaining comfort with social interactions. Veterans will receive support through equine activities, natural horsemanship training, and traditional services. The community environment embraces teamwork and accountability of residents while providing a safe and structured setting for veterans to successfully re-integrate to civilian life.
