Nomination Process

The process for nominating candidates for the Three Forks Chamber President position is designed to be fair, transparent, and inclusive. All members in good standing are encouraged to participate. The Nomination Committee oversees the entire process, from receiving nominations to verifying eligibility and presenting the final slate of candidates.

Key Stages

• Call for Nominations: The Chamber will formally announce the opening of the nomination period, specifying the deadline for submissions.
• Submission of Nominations: Nominations must be submitted in writing, using the prescribed nomination form. This form must be completed and signed by both the nominator and the nominee, indicating their acceptance of the nomination.
• Candidate Statements: Eligible nominees will be invited to submit a brief statement outlining their qualifications, vision for the Chamber, and reasons for seeking the presidency.
• Presentation of Candidates: The Chamber Members in good standing will review the candidates and cast their votes.
• Election: The election of the Chamber President will be held at the next monthly Chamber meeting.

To be eligible for nomination as Chamber President, a candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Leadership Experience: Possess demonstrated leadership experience, either within the Chamber or in their respective professional field.
• Commitment: Be willing and able to commit the time and energy required to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the Chamber President.
