Having guests over the Rodeo weekend? Be sure to bring them to the Headwaters Heritage Museum for a look at the history of the Missouri headwaters area. There are exhibits representing Three Forks and the nearby towns of Willow Creek and Logan and towns that are no longer in existence, such as Trident and Gallatin Cities I and II. The largest brown trout caught by Peck Bacon in 1966, possibly the oldest anvil in North America and an excellent display of barbed wire upstairs are just some of the highlights. Open 9 to 5, Monday-Saturday, with extended hours to 8 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 11 to 3 on Sunday. Free admission every day! Donations are appreciated and help to keep the museum open.
